Wowza! What a whirlwind 2020 has been so far eh!? At last, we’ve finally gotten some clarity for future weddings, which is a massive relief for future couples, venues & vendors. Following public health guidance and with social distancing measures firmly in place, gatherings with the below boundaries can soon take place:
As of 29th June: Limited to 50 people indoors and 200 people outdoors until July 20th.
As of 20th July: The numbers expand with an allowance of up to 100 people indoors and 500 people outdoors.
So today, we wanted to create a forest themed mood board for a micro wedding. ‘’What the hell is a micro wedding’’, I hear you say!? A micro wedding is a super intimate celebration which can range anywhere from 4 to 50 guests. Sounds pretty dreamy right!?
Micro Weddings are a trend that Bombenni feel will become more and more popular over the next couple of years. They also come with benefits which we’re about to jump into:
SAVE THAT MONEY HONEY!
With fewer guests, your costs will come right down saving you a massive chunk of change. Hallelujaaaah! However, before you start planning, you just have that tricky icky job of cracking down the numbers on that guest list.
A smaller wedding party will ease your stationary, food & beverage requirements to name but a few. This means the money you save could go into wowsa decor or getting your favourite band to play at your wedding, we all know that bands at the best of times come with a hefty price tag or perhaps you could keep the money for future investments like your home, childcare, a pretty epic honeymoon – the choice is yours!
HATE BEING IN THE SPOTLIGHT!?
Do you hate being the centre of attention? Uncomfortable with the idea of having all eyes on you? Trust us when we say, you are not alone!
Weddings and large numbers can be daunting to so many people. Opting for a micro wedding will eliminate a lot of these stressors as after all, you will be surrounded by your biggest comfort blanket – the people who you want there, your nearest & dearest who you love most. The beauty with this also is, timewise, nothing will feel rushed. You will totally be at ease and will be able to mingle with your guests freely without having to dash to the next person for a quick hello and catch up.
DO THINGS YOUR WAY!
